olympics

Welcome back super bloggers! This blog is about the Olympics. The first modern Olympics was held in ancient Greece in 1897.  The Olympics is held every four years and goes to a different country each time. In ancient times the Greeks used to have large sporting events to recognise the ancient Gods. One of the sports was chariot racing.

    Kia ora Angus,
    Great post Angus - I can read your enthusiasm! The Olympics have been interesting to learn about and watch haven't they? Would you like to compete in the modern Olympics or the ancient Olympics?
    Do you think it is ok to change the sports at the Olympics to try to get more people watching them? I wonder what the Ancient greeks would make of our modern Olympics...!
    Well done for remembering to put capital letters on all of your proper nouns (names of important things).
